S had a hard time on the first day of school. He wanted to be brave, but new things are hard for him and this was no exception. There were a few tears shed once it was time to say goodbye, but look at this happy face when I picked him up.
He now loves school, loves his teacher and his friends, loves specialist time, and especially loves the library. Of course there are the "the thing I don't like about ____ is ..." comments each day. We are still working on finding positive things to say about each day. Mom, does this sound familiar?
