Games children play

Having children helps me remember all the fun kid games I used to play. Sunday S came home from church with a new game... Duck, Duck Goose! He had played it in his class (as well as eaten a snack of Cheerios and marshmallows, which does beg the question of how much gospel teaching actually goes on, but that's another topic.) So he wanted to play Duck, Duck, Goose at home. Of course we did, and G was so excited to play as well. Finally one of us tagged her as goose, and she got to do some chasing. Then it was her turn to tag someone. She circled and circled, tapping our heads, and several extra pretend heads as well, saying Duck, duck, duck, duck. We asked her, "who is the goose?" She thought for a minute, and then said, "Me!" and off she ran around the dining room table by herself! I can see we'll have lots of fun playing Duck, Duck, Goose for the next few months.
