Splish Splash

Fourth of July at the lake with friends has become our Washington tradition.  And this year was just about perfect.  We've been to this lake cabin often enough that our kids almost think they are part of the extended family that owns it!

 This year we had two enthusiastic tubers (plus the friend whose family hosts.)  Getting ready (above.)

We also took out the pedal boat.  S and I had a nice time pedaling as the sun went down.  For the first time ever we stayed for the fireworks show across the lake.  And of course the food was delicious as always.  We will miss this Fourth of July tradition!
