Every year we get catalogs with kids Halloween costumes. And every year there is one costume that is so over the top, I just can't believe it. Last week we got the Chasing Fireflies catalog, which included this costume:
Is there a huge demand among 8 yr olds to dress up like Carmen Miranda? Do they even know who she is? Or remember the Chiquita banana lady? Well for about $100 (including accessories shown here) this costume could be yours!

If G goes as Carmen Miranda this year she could earn big points with Grandpa Gus. I'm not sure what she could cash them in for, but she'd have points nonetheless.
