Our little town has a 1K kids race as part of the town's summer festival. We convinced the kids to run the race this year - G was most excited about the medal, S just didn't want G to be the only one with a medal. I ran with the kids and we had a good time. Check out G's outfit... yes she insisted on running in a skirt and wore that visor for the whole race. About halfway through she took off ahead of S (she ran the whole way, he walked a little) and didn't look back. J, waiting with baby J, was surprised at the finish to see that she wasn't with us! I had fun running with them - maybe I'll join in with the adult runners next year on the 5K.
