Ever since we read Angelina and the Fair, the kids have been talking about Haunted Houses (a key plot point in this fine book.) So this morning at breakfast S launches into this:
"What if we had a haunted house on our roof and when Santa was looking for the chimney, a big spider landed on his head and then a ghost jumped out and said BOO and bumped into him?"
And G responds, "and Santa will climb the stairs to my room and a baby ghostee while say boo!" (imagine this in her little voice)
Poor Santa is going to have quite an adventure at our house this year.
Note - I've finally finished an end of summer post. It shows up in mid-Sept, since that's when I started it. So skim down to find it, Mom & Dad.
