Fourth of July was cold and rainy here. We had a fun morning at the community fair. The kids loved the bouncy houses, but loved the treats more! I can't stand cotton candy or sno-cones. I can hardly watch while the kids eat them. Clearly, this is a love inherited from Dad, not me! We had a fun rainy night of fireworks. A couple of neighbors got some mortars, as did we, and we shared sparklers to have a corner celebration. We don't have to put on a big show, as we have one about six houses down the street, and around us in every direction. The kids loved staying up late and running around. Baby J slept through the whole evening.
