From mid August until early October, J was the coach of the Eagles U7 soccer team. He had fun coaching -- planning skill games for the kids, organizing, etc. It was nice to have two experienced soccer dads helping at the games. The kids all had fun, and there was real improvement in soccer skills over the season. We ended the season with a pizza party and trophies. Here is Coach J hard at work, the kids finishing their cheer, and S playing hard.
One of the team moms came up with this cheer: E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles, Eagles are the best, Goooooo Eagles! The kids loved it, especially when J would say, "Put a wing in," to start their cheers.
