Summer in Seattle

The beach... oh we love going to the beach.  There was much wave chasing, castle building and sandy pretzel eating! I could post a hundred pictures from the beach.

 

And then these folks arrived!  We took them to a Mariners game where everyone ate lots of junk food, and we lasted until the 7th inning stretch (a new record for our family.)

 
 The next day we took them to the beach.  It was a little cold, but that didn't stop us from burying some cousins in the sand, convincing one cousin to swim in the water, and finding a little stream to dam up.

After the cousins left, we hit SeaFair's fleet week and toured the Bonhomme Richard, an amphibious assault ship.  S and G enjoyed trying out the marine helmets and exploring the helicopters and aircraft on the flight deck.
