We had a couple of birthdays in the spring. This shaggy haired boy turned 8! And this little girl turned 6! Every birthday I think, how can they really be this old?
My mom came for a visit. We played at a local children's museum with friends. J enjoyed the lights and mirrors and the water play area. I forgot to bring a change of clothes for him-- so he was a wee bit wet (ha! entirely soaked) on the ride home.
Sam got baptized - he was so excited for his big day. And, he started Cub scouts! Here he is after earning his bobcat. He is now well on his way to Wolf and loves checking off requirements and re-reading the manual.
