To Do Before Easter...Not

Here was my to do list before Easter:


1. Buy S a new tie (and maybe new church shoes, and rainboots while we're at it.)
2. Paint wooden eggs
3. Make spring sugar cookies
4. Convince G she would like a sweater over her sleeveless dress.
5. SLEEP...


Here's what actually happened:

1. S wore same tie, same shoes. But we did get new dragon boots!
2. Wooden eggs were covered with stickers and marker Saturday afternoon when paint was just more than I could manage.
3. Softened butter for cookies. Put back into fridge. No cookies actually made, but ice cream was enjoyed by all!
4. Put sweater on over dress. Much crying ensued. Took sweater off, took dress off. More crying. Put long sleeved white shirt on under dress. Put dress back on. Happy G (all done by J.)
5. And of course, not enough sleep for me.
